We offer two levels of training Basic Detailing Training and Advanced Detailing Training tailored to match your experience level and career goals.
BASIC DETAILING TRAINING
Our Basic Training Course is ideal for beginners or enthusiasts who want to develop a strong foundation in professional detailing. This hands on program teaches you the essential steps, tools, and techniques used by professionals to clean, decontaminate, and protect vehicle surfaces safely and effectively.
You will gain practical experience and learn best practices in the following areas:
Wheels, Tyres, and Wheel Arches
Learn to perform a complete wheel and tyre deep clean, including wheel faces, barrels, and arches. You’ll use the correct tools and chemicals to remove brake dust, grime, and embedded contaminants. We’ll cover tyre degreasing, deep cleaning, and wheel arch cleaning/flushing to ensure every part of the lower vehicle area is thoroughly detailed.
Snow Foaming & Pre-Wash Techniques
Discover the importance of the pre-wash stage a critical process for safely loosening and removing traffic film, dirt, and road grime before the contact wash. You’ll learn correct snow foam dilution ratios, dwell times, and rinsing techniques to reduce wash induced swirls, scratches and marring prior to the safe 2 bucket wash method.
Safe Bucket Wash Method
Master the two bucket safe wash technique to achieve a thorough, scratch free finish. You’ll learn to use the correct wash media and accessories, including grit guards and dedicated wash mitts for upper and lower sections, minimizing swirls, scratches and wash marring to preserving the vehicle’s finish.
Decontamination Process
Understand and perform a full multi-stage decontamination, combining both chemical decontamination and mechanical (claying) methods. This includes the use of tar removers, iron fallout removers, and clay bars and other clay media to safely remove embedded contaminants from the paint surface. This step ensures the paintwork is perfectly clean and ready for polishing and paint protection to be applied.
Glass Cleaning Techniques
Achieve streak-free clarity using our professional glass cleaning techniques. You’ll learn how to select the right products, tools, and motion methods to clean both interior and exterior glass efficiently an often overlooked skill that makes a major difference in overall presentation.
Paint Protection Application
Learn how to correctly apply a range of paint protection products, including waxes, sealants, and coatings. You’ll gain an understanding of surface preparation, layering techniques, and curing times to ensure maximum paint protection, gloss and durability.
By the end of your Basic Training, you’ll have mastered the essential procedures and principles of safe, effective detailing. You’ll leave equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and professional habits to either start your own detailing journey or progress toward our Advanced Training Program, where we explore machine polishing, ceramic coatings, and paint correction in depth.

ADVANCED DETAILING TRAINING
Our Advanced Detailing Training Program is designed for experienced detailers who are ready to take their craft to the next level. This intensive, hands on course skips the basics and dives straight into advanced techniques, giving you the skills, confidence, and precision required to deliver true professional grade results.
Throughout this program, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge and practical experience in all of the following key areas:
Paint Depth Readings
Understanding your paintwork is critical before any correction begins. You’ll learn how to accurately measure paint thickness using the DeFelsko Positest DFT Paint Thickness Gauge across all metal panels. This ensures safe and effective machine polishing by confirming that sufficient clear coat remains for corrective work protecting the vehicle’s finish while achieving exceptional results.
Advanced Machine Polishing
Master the art and science of machine polishing, one of the most essential and technical aspects of detailing. You’ll receive comprehensive instruction on identifying and correcting deeper paint imperfections such as scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, and water spots.
Training covers a wide range of professional grade polishers including Random Orbital (Dual Action), Rotary, and Forced Induction / Gear Driven machines as well as the correct selection and use of polishing pads and compounds. The goal is to refine your technique for maximum finish quality while maintaining surface safety and control.
Ceramic Coating Application
Learn the precise methods for preparing, applying, and curing ceramic coatings to achieve durable, high gloss protection. Our training emphasizes surface preparation, controlled application, and efficient removal techniques to ensure a flawless finish and long lasting performance. You’ll understand how to create a professional level coating system that enhances both aesthetics and protection.
Wet Sanding Techniques
Discover one of the most advanced refinishing processes in professional detailing wet sanding. You’ll be trained to safely and effectively level paint surfaces to remove deeper defects, texture, and orange peel. Using various grades of sandpaper, both by hand and machine, you’ll develop the precision and judgment needed to restore a mirror like finish while maintaining paint integrity.

By the end of this advanced course, you’ll have hands on experience with every major aspect of high level detailing. You’ll leave with not only expanded technical knowledge but also the professional confidence to perform advanced correction and protection services with accuracy, efficiency, and care.
