After a lot of testing we have finally landed on a Clay Pad that we are happy with.
At a perfect size (approx 11x7cm), it features a thick foam backing that prevents excess pressure being transferred to your paintwork and therefore reducing the marring often associated to these types of clay medium.
The actual clay surface is a fine grade which is more than enough for 90% of situtions. We chose the fine grade as in our testing we found it produced next to zero marring whilst still producing a silky smooth finish in a significantly quicker (an easier) time than a traditional clay bar.
We recommend using these with a dedicated clay lubricant or something like Optimum No Rinse however it will also works well with a soapy solution made from your traditional car wash shampoo.
As with all non traditional clay medium, we recommend breaking these in on your glass (windscreen or side windows), before use on paintwork.
Can be used multiple times if taken car of properly. Rinse, allow to dry and store in a container clay face up.
